When I was young, I practised many sports. Obviously, football and basketball like all my friends and classmates, but also canoeing, indoor hockey and finally athletics (track). As athlete I'm not up too much, so that I only get to be finalist every year on 100 and 110 m. hurdles, at the Galician Championships.
- 1987-1993: Athlete in Club Deportivo Pavillón (Ourense) and in Club Deportivo Ourense. Specialities: 110 m. hurdles and 100 m. hurdles.
- Athletics coach (qualified with the Spanish School of Athletics Coaches.)
- 2005-2006: Athletics official’s assistant in Athletics Official Committee of Santiago, and since november 2007, as a Galician official.
- 2006-current: Track official in Scottish Athletics, level 2.
- 2007-current: I'm a member of University of Stirling Fencing Club. I'm a beginner on foil.
- In April 2006 I participated in the 38th Season of the Spanish Olympic Academy. I presented a paper about how blogs, fotologs and citizen's journalism in general can change the rules and laws about sports broadcasting and, specifically, Olympic Games broadcasting: Blogs and IOC. A Technological Challenge to the Olympic Rules, that will be published in Proceesings of XXV Season of Spanish Olympic Academy (forthcoming).
- In June 2006 I participated in the 46ª Season of International Olympic Academy for Young People, in Olimpia, Greece.
- I am member of the IOAPA, International Olympic Academy Participants Association.
- I was a volonteer for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships Edinburgh 2008, in March 2008, and worked on the welcome desk. I volunteered at the Eurogames 2008, in Barcelona, where I worked as a secretary assistant in track and field events, amongst other different tasks.
